  1. Question 3- Humans kill other humans because they want to have power. The less people that they have, the more chance they have to control everyone. They want to scare the people into obeying them.

  3. In response to question 2, I think the people dominate others for many reasons. One of the many reasons for dominance is that people have a lust for power, and land. By conquering other land, you will obtain; Workers, resources, money, land, and most importantly, worldwide acknowledgement that your tribe/ group/ country/ clan has physically dominated another. Thus, instilling fear into your previous enemies. There are also severe effects that are negative, such as casualties, money loss, and you have insulted, defiled, and possibly slaughtered an entire community who are now, probably plotting, scheming, and conspiring against you.

  4. Question 3: People kill other people because they have a need for power and are willing to kill others in order to feel like they are in control. Also once someone is in power, they will most likely like the feeling and feel the need to have more power and so they will kill more and more people until they are dominant. Another reason is that some people are raised with prejudices against certain races or ethnic groups. Because of this prejudice, many people feel that it is their responsibility to exterminate that race or ethnic group. Since they feel so strongly about this, they are very likely to feel compelled to take the matter into their own hands and often cause a lot of damage that didn't accomplish what they were hoping for because one needs a lot of power and respect to effectively take control of or exterminate a race or ethnic group.

  5. Question Number One:
After discussing this question with our group, we came to the conclusion of this. Africa was put into poverty because they did not have advanced enough weapons as their enemy, or technology to move forward in battle. And,they couldn't get out of their poverty, or debt. Also, some tribes might have had a severe recession that they eventually didn't get out of. They fell into poverty, because they couldn't pay off their debt and they lost their houses, money, and eventually, everything they had. When individual tribes fell into poverty, it made them more vulnerable to other tribes that want to take power over them.
